OUR PHILOSOPHY
There are contracts to sign, budgets to balance,
vendors to coordinate and approximately 847 tiny
decisions nobody warned you about. But underneath
it all? You’re throwing one incredible party.
We believe the process should feel good for everyone
involved: the couple, the vendors, the planner and,
of course, the guests.

Hi, I’m Emily. Part planner, part venue insider,
part professional problem-solver.
With more than 13 years in the event industry,
I’ve worked across planning, venue coordination,
catering sales, vendor sourcing and event
execution. I think about the pretty details
and whether the timeline, floor plan and
vendor logistics will actually work.
My favorite place? Behind the scenes, making
the whole celebration come together.

Sweet Soirée supports weddings in Grass Valley, Nevada City and throughout Nevada County, as well as Auburn, Roseville and Rocklin. Planning farther away? Travel may be available for an additional fee. We bring firsthand venue and event-operations experience to the logistics that make a wedding flow.

We love a good party
Private events: day-of coordination from $1,500, partial planning from $2,000, full planning from $3,500, design from $2,000 and full planning + design from $5,500. Micro celebrations: children’s birthdays from $500; adult birthdays, showers, engagement parties, holiday parties and bachelor/bachelorette parties from $1,000.
